ALBERTO MOTTESI HEADS TOWARD A HISTORIC CELEBRATION: 65 YEARS OF MINISTRY AND 50 YEARS OF AMEA

Santa Ana, CA, Sept. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alberto Mottesi Evangelistic Association (AMEA) announced that 2027 will mark a historic moment in the journey of Argentine evangelist Alberto Mottesi, as he celebrates 65 years of uninterrupted ministry and the 50th anniversary of the Alberto Mottesi Evangelistic Association (AMEA). More than six decades devoted to carrying the message of Jesus Christ around the world will culminate in a major event in Los Angeles, California, honoring his life's work and, above all, commissioning a new generation to carry this legacy forward and fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ALBERTO MOTTESI HEADS TOWARD A HISTORIC CELEBRATION: 65 YEARS OF MINISTRY AND 50 YEARS OF AMEA

Alberto Mottesi

A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Alberto Mottesi has given more than six decades of his life to the service of the Gospel, in a journey marked by integrity, perseverance and a deep conviction to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the nations. Known in the press as “The Pastor of Presidents,” he has met with heads of state, members of congress and government officials in numerous countries throughout his ministry. Hundreds of these distinguished men and women have also attended his crusades, hearing in person a message of faith and principles rooted in the Gospel.

The reach of his ministry, however, goes well beyond meetings with leaders and large platforms. An estimated 30 million people have heard his message in person at crusades and evangelistic events around the world, where countless lives have responded to the call of Jesus Christ.

Mottesi’s vision to reach the multitudes and his gift for communication led him to use media as a powerful tool to carry the Good News far beyond his crusades and in-person events. His radio program “Un Momento con Alberto Mottesi” airs on more than 3,000 stations worldwide, while “Venga Tu Reino,” “Café Libre” and “Esperanza Hoy” became landmarks of Spanish-language Christian television through Enlace and other networks. His global presence in media adds up to a remarkable 10,000 radio and television stations carrying his voice. To this body of work he adds nearly twenty published books, with a new title planned for 2027 as part of this historic celebration.

At his side for most of this journey has been his wife, Noemí Mottesi, his partner in life and ministry for more than 60 years. Together with their sons, Martín and Marcelo, the family settled in the United States in 1975. Two years later, in 1977, the Alberto Mottesi Evangelistic Association (AMEA) was born, an organization that has expanded its work for five decades and is currently led by a board of directors that includes among its leaders his son Martín.

The work of Alberto Mottesi and AMEA has rested on three pillars: Evangelism, Education and Compassion. Evangelism has been the heart of his calling, bringing the message of Jesus Christ to millions and mobilizing the Church to fulfill the Great Commission. That same commitment to new generations of believers gave rise to the Alberto Mottesi University, which has extended its presence to more than 100 cities, training and equipping leaders to serve in their communities and nations.

For Mottesi, however, the Gospel must not only be proclaimed and taught, but also demonstrated through concrete acts of love. From that conviction comes the pillar of Compassion, which through humanitarian initiatives such as Rescate Extremo and Puertas de Amor brings help and hope to children, seniors and vulnerable families in some of the neediest communities in the world.

El Legado Continúa (The Legacy Continues)

More than a commemoration of these two milestones, The Legacy Continues will be an opportunity not only to celebrate what God has done in the past, but, even more importantly, to look toward the future. The purpose of this major event is to commission a new generation that will rise up, take the torch and keep his mission intact: that everyone may know Jesus Christ.

Prominent leaders, influential figures and well-known artists will gather in Los Angeles, California, for a celebration built around a single goal. “My dream for The Legacy Continues is to see a new generation of young people rise up and answer God’s call to transform the world with the message of Jesus, understanding that everything ultimately exists to glorify Him. ‘For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things’ (Romans 11:36),” says the evangelist as he looks ahead with great anticipation to this significant milestone.

The first details on the date, venue, program, special guests and church participation will be announced during a Special Gathering with Pastors, Leaders and Media, on Saturday, October 3 at AMEA, with Dr. Alberto Mottesi in attendance.
Churches, pastors, leaders, ministers, business owners and media outlets who wish to be part of The Legacy Continues and learn about the different opportunities for participation, partnership and interviews may contact Promeza MG, the agency coordinating and promoting this historic celebration.
